The cost formula

Based on Kakobuy's help center, total cost is roughly:

Item price + domestic China shipping + international freight + packing fee + optional value-added services

1. Item price & domestic shipping

You pay the seller's price plus shipping from the seller to Kakobuy's warehouse. Buying multiple items from one seller in a single order is usually charged domestic shipping only once.

2. International freight

Calculated from chargeable weight (the larger of actual and volumetric weight), your chosen line and destination. Consolidating items into one parcel saves the most here — see Shipping & Logistics.

3. Optional value-added services

Extras like personalized photos, vacuum packing, reinforcement and extended storage each carry a small fee. They are optional — see Value-added services.

4. Customs & taxes

Depending on your country and declared value, import VAT or duties may apply on arrival. These are separate from Kakobuy and paid to your customs authority.
